What an amazing valley! Surrounded by forest ridges, a refreshing river that runs right through the festival, this place is really magic.
The Poi Twirling Workshops were really popular...thanks to everyone who came along to learn and have some fun.
Was a big catch up of friends I grew up with in the Blue Mts, plus meeting a whole fun new crew of people too...love to you all and happy 2009!!

This festival was synchronized with others running all over the world, to create awareness about climate change and whats happening on our earth.
I wrote a new song for the competition on Sat afternoon and got to enjoy a trip to Green Island which I won... thank you, thank you!!
Did a set on Sat night and Sun arvo... it was a wonderful community festival, which opened up new opportunities for me. I felt very supported by the people there!

NATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL - Apr 07, Canberra

Did two sets at the Blackboard Stage and was very grateful to all the people who came up afterwards. Was a very friendly festival with so many venues and musicians plus workshops galore, I was impressed I got any sleep at all!

A festival of bushwalking, forest appreciation, education and friendly Tasmainians!! I felt privaledged to be part of it and enjoyed sharing my love of nature through song. Was a thrill to see my name on the program too!!

A groovy town that morfs into a magical music festival with tunz springing out of every shop, hall, park...everywhere!! I performed a Birthday set for one of my good friends Amanda at a little cafe in town, was fun to get in amoungst it all and play some songs =)

FALLS FESTIVAL - Dec 06, Marian Bay TAS

Performed on the APRA Stage... cant say it was the best I've ever done, as my guitar decided to die on me half way through! Still I got to improvise, do some acapella with the crowde as my rhythm section...thanks guys!! Its also inspired me to start the search for a new guitar...mmmmmm cant wait!

FOLK RHYTHM & LIFE FESTIVAL - Nov 06, Eldorado

This is one of those festivals you almost want to keep a secret cause its sooo goooood!!
Performed at 'Lentils as anything' with so many people I love in the crowd, was a great experience!
Thank you to all the beautiful people who came up afterwards, with all your lovely compliments... thats what makes this festival so special!!

WINTERMOON FESTIVAL - May 07, Mackay QLD

Did 2 performances at the SHED STAGE... one fell on my Birthday...was the best way to spend the day!
It was amazing being part of such a talented lot of musicians, I learnt so much!
This is definately my favourite festival here in Oz...the special people, the size and the amazing land...ahhhh I love it!!

WINTERMOON FESTIVAL - Apr/May 06, Mackay QLD

This was a very special festival... I would recommend it to you all, an experience not to be missed! I got up on the 'Luna Stage' and entered into the song writing competition with one of my new songs "Sand on Skin". Got into the finals performing on the main stage and came 3rd! Looks like I could be on the program for next years festival... I'll keep you posted!

Got up at the TROUBADOUR STAGE on New Years Eve, was great!! So lovely to be back again at this stage, the audience was very supportive and I felt grateful to be part of the vibe Andrew brings to Woodford, as its their last year doing this festival!
Don't think its my last year =)!!!!

Got up at the CHAI TENT and TROUBADOUR STAGES!! Had an amazing time, on stage and off...
it was so inspiring to be around all that good music! Have been writing lots of new songs and I'm keen to make the most of the live scene here in Brisbane!! So keep checking the site!!!

This was a completely acoustic folk event above the Kookaburra Cafe happening every wednesday night just west of Brisbane CBD.
It was really intimate, lots of giggles and beautiful singers...well worth checking out!!!

After living in Mullumbimby and experiencing the rich culture of community folk nights held around the area, I was very excited to be part of the first Kuranda folk night!!

A cruisy Sunday arvo gig, with wallabies and cows grazing the paddocks...looking out to the stunning Boarder Ranges NP!
This was the first offical gig with Michael my new bass guitar player and we were inspired for more!!

This was an evening of acoustic music, a showing of the Pulp Mill DVD and an opportunity to help in lots of little ways.
25% of the CD sales were donated to the Wilderness Society.

IRISH MURPHY'S - Mar 07, Hobart

This was a special night for me. Falling on International Womens Day, I got creative...wrote up poems, did art, got a new 'Womens' song written and really enjoyed putting something a bit different together!! It was also my last gig in Hobart and lots of beautiful friends came down, which always makes my night =)

D'ART FACTORY - Mar 07, Hobart

I wanted to do something to help preserve the amazing old growth forests still under threat in many areas around Tassie. So I began a benifit concert 'ACOUSTIC ART' which I am happy to report is still going...YAY!! All proceeds go to the Wilderness Society, so if your in Hobart go check it out...it happens once a month at this groovy little cafe. Your $5 will help so much plus you'll get some great acoustic songwriters entertaining you too! (If I'm in Hobart I'll be one of them!!)

This little Cafe is right in the centre of Cairns... open 24hrs and depending on the time will depend on the vibe!! I've performed here on a Thursday & a Sunday evening, both nice and cruisy! No doubt will be up for another sing in the future, they can't keep me away =)

'Magnums Bar' - This was a semi outdoor venue with lots of big long tables and lots of overseas travellers... definately in the touristy district now!!
'Kc's Bar' - A more intimate venue with a few more locals dropping in and out... yummy food too! Had great night... by the end of the evening I had most people singing along!! Got me inspired...playing covers can be fun!!

'Tongue and Groove' Located in funky West End, yummy food, art on the walls and good live music! Got to play nice longs sets too!
'The Verve Cafe' was great to be a part of this acoustic night happening every week in the city!
'The Alley Bar' this pub is in a bowling alley... quirky, with a great crowd of attentive listeners and groovy, diverse performances!

This is a great venue, when you get the combo of a funky space, fun crowd and cool organiser who keeps up a running show of talented muzo's... you're always in for a treat! Plus you've got to love MALENY...where Woodford Fest was born!

Well this is a bar with character! So no suprise...its in BYRON BAY! Don't quite know what the budda would think of it, all his little laughing statues around the place!! I loved it. Stage is outside next to a lovely big fig tree (will put a photo in soon & you can check it out)

Hiding in the groovy town of BELLINGEN, your mouth will water when you taste their food!! Was a big change for me playing here... being used to rowdy pubs, was lovely to have such an attentive audience!

I have done lots of gigs in this pub which is in the main street of a little country town called GLOUCESTER, where I do some outdoor guiding work every so often. Its got a great outside court yard where I play a mix of originals and covers...my favourite have been the cruisy Sunday arvo sets!! (its a good place for white water kayaking for any of you adventurous types!!)

Sometimes the smallest gigs can be the most beautiful! This was such a special night for so many reasons, rather than ramble on here, the full story is for those that ask!

This is one of my fav. venues in SYDNEY!

One big reason is a really good sound chick. Done many gigs here over the last few years and always enjoy the intimate atmosphere, away from the main pub, really feels like putting on a show!

THE HARP HOTEL 02-05

This is an Irish pub in the burbs of SYDNEY which has a healthy live music scene that has been going for many years. It was one of our regular haunts' I've played there as a duo, with a full 5 piece band, and also got to try out being an organiser, putting on shows with other local Sydney bands. Lots of good times!!!

THE CAT AND FIDDLE 03-04

This venue is in Balmain, SYDNEY' where we held our CD Launch May 2003 (for more info go to ALBUM). This was another place our band played regularly.

ROXBURY HOTEL 04

This SYDNEY pub is in Glebe. It was a very special night put on as a Benefit for the Wilderness Society, to help stop the logging of old growth Tasmanian forests. Together with a friend, Behiye we organised 4 acts' it was a great line up and we raised a good sum of money to help fight for these amazing tree giants.
